Learn how the North Mississippi Greek Picnic began—and join us for this year's celebration.

In 2021, a group of visionaries in Holly Springs, Mississippi asked a simple but powerful question: What if all nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations came together — not for competition, but for community?
The answer was the North Mississippi Greek Picnic. At a time when division threatened communities everywhere, we chose unity. We chose the Divine Nine. We chose the next generation.
Since our founding, we’ve worked to bridge gaps, celebrate Black excellence, and funnel the energy of Greek collaboration directly into scholarships and enrichment opportunities for young people across North Mississippi.

Every ticket purchased helps celebrate our community and supports opportunities for future generations.
Every step show, every vendor, every scholarship check — it all flows from this singular commitment to collective service. We don’t work alone. We work as one.
We see a North Mississippi where every young Black student knows their potential is limitless — and where a community stands ready to prove it.

Experience a day of fellowship, entertainment, food, culture, and community.
The North Mississippi Greek Picnic is built on the legacy of the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations. Together, they represent over a century of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and brotherhood — the backbone of our event and the heartbeat of our mission.
